No Christian is powerless irrespective of what you have seen, heard or experienced. You may have heard several things as touching believers and power. And it is also possible that you have had an unfavourable experience in the past or you are presently experiencing a thing that makes it seems that some Christians are without power or probably the power is only to some set of individuals in the fold.

Apostle Paul by revelation spoke in Eph 1:19-20 of the inheritance of the saints and the immeasurable greatness of God’s power in us that believe. This power is at work in us and is of such that raised Jesus Christ from the dead. This power is not to some individuals in the fold alone but to everyone that believes. It is to all believers (Christian and born-again).

“And what is the immeasurable greatness of his power in us who believe, according to the working of his great might which he accomplished in Christ when he raised him from the dead and made him sit at his right hand in the heavenly places” Eph 1:19-20. RSV

The above scripture did not say this power will be in us after we have fasted and prayed for forty days and night but it is in us right now as long as we are born-again. The power that raised Christ from the dead is in all that believes in Christ (born-again). Irrespective of what you have heard which may be otherwise or what you have experienced which might seem contradictory, the immeasurable greatness of God’s power lies inside of you as a believer. You are not powerless but in you is the power of such that raised Jesus from the dead. Hallelujah!

This book centres on this power that is inherent in us as believers and how to tap into this enormous power.

I believe that in the course of this book you will be transformed (changed) by the renewing of the content and quality of that which is in your mind as touching the power that works in us that believe and how to tap into this great wealth of power.

This power inherent in us is as to a dynamo and you got to move the coil.

Perhaps, it is not difficult for us believing that we became children of God immediately we got saved (born-again). So if we are children, then we are heirs. We cannot be children and not be heirs; likewise, we cannot be heirs and not be children. We are children and heirs of God. The privilege of being children and heirs of God is not without benefits; heirs have legal right to their father’s estate.

As much as it is easy to believe that we are children of God, we begin to drag our feet when we are told of the benefits of children and heirs of God. We find it difficult believing and acknowledging these benefits because we think we are not worthy of them. Also, we think we have to work to earn these benefits. In fact, we think we have to grow to a certain level of spirituality before having access to our Father’s estate.

As a result, we make naught our rights as heirs of God by the way we live. We live as though we are slaves and servants to God. We sacrifice our relationship with God as our father in the name of honour and respect to Him and this shortchanges us of our inheritance. Similarly, due to our ignorance and unbelief, we children are then found eating crumps of our Father’s table as though we are dogs. We seek to earn the bread which is clearly stated that it is for us.

In a way of salvaging this disheartening situation, this book shines the light, pointing the will of God to us as children and heirs. Also, it illuminates the strategies of the devil and how he denies and shortchanges us of our benefits as children and heirs of God. I am persuaded that you are on the right path to understanding the deceits of the devil which have been exposed by the word of God as touching your inheritance as heirs of God.

In addition, this book is not centered on hear-says, common or acceptable teachings. Rather, by marshaling each point with scriptures, this book is carefully written based on premises drawn from the word of God which our faith stands on.

As children of God, we are not beggars. We have seats at the table to partake of the portion allocated to us by our Father. Crumps are not meant for us and we will not live our lives on crumps.

We are not just heirs of God; we are both heirs of God and joint-heirs with Christ. In this book, this is also expounded.

The prayer of Apostle Paul is that the church comes to the understanding of her inheritance in Christ. Similarly, in his teachings, he teaches the church on how to benefit fully of her inheritance in God through Christ. In the light of these prayers and teachings, I am inspired to write this book to the church so that the church may be free from deceits, philosophies and traditions which are not according to Christ and have denied many of adequately benefiting from our inheritance as heirs of God and joint-heirs with Christ.

As you peruse this book, I pray that the eyes of your heart are so flooded with light that you may know and understand your rights as heirs of God and joint heirs with Christ in Jesus name. Amen

On a sunny afternoon, while I was looking outside through the window of a bus, I saw different category of people with different expressions- of hunger, poverty, sickness, disabilities, among others. I hardly saw anyone laughed or probably I did not look more closely or better. Right then, I asked myself out of pity for these people- “Why do people suffer? Is it not possible to live in happiness and prosperity?”

This book is one of my answers to the plight of mankind- ‘Do you know that you can live in happiness, prosperity, liberty and blessedness? The Beatitudes’. Change your life for good as you read this book.

This book is neither meant to justify December 25th as the birth day of Jesus nor justify the different practices during the season. If you do not see December 25th as more special than other days, you have not done badly and if you take the day as special you have not done better either.

Hence, we shall not engage ourselves in endless arguments on Christmas which will serve as a distraction from the meat or essence of Jesus’ birth. Rather, we intend making an excellent use of this time to look into the essence of the birth of Jesus Christ.

Many believers probably do not know the in-depth of the essence of the birth of our Lord Jesus Christ. For instance, if you were asked the essence of His birth, you will probably say He was born to save us and that is not wrong. But there are further questions. Must He be born to save us? Is there no other way? What are the peculiarities surrounding His birth? Why was He born by a virgin? Why was He not born of the union of a man and woman? These questions, among other ones, will be answered in the course of this book, as this is the focus of the book—to let us understand the essence or significance of the birth of Jesus and the peculiarities surrounding His birth.

Everyone wants to live above circumstances- in dominion, freedom, peace and tranquillity. The yearning of the human spirit is to live and not just to exist. We crave for something deep- ‘living above or being in control’. As a means to achieve this deep human desire, I shared some practical principles in this book with some additional resources to aid and track your success.

The epistle to the Romans is the foundation of Christian doctrine and it is therefore important to understand this epistle so that other teachings can align properly for an edifice.
